Our Club was formally established in the early 1970s by a handful of enthusiasts in the US and Canada, bound by a passion for Velocette motorcycles. We have grown over the decades and now boast hundreds of members, sponsoring many events so owners of Velocettes can meet and ride our beautiful motorcycles. Our Annual Rally is held typically in late July/early August, somewhere in the western US or Canada, and comprises five days of riding (around 1000 miles), plus our Annual General Meeting and banquet on the Saturday following the ride.  Our Rally is simply the best old-motorcycle event on the planet, as we choose locations which are scenic, historic, and in the middle of the finest riding roads anywhere, and blessedly free of traffic.

2008 marked our 23rd Annual Rally, and was held in Benbow, California.

Our club magazine, 'Fishtail West', is published bi-monthly, and is full of interesting information about Velocettes and the people who ride them. Members will shortly be able to receive their newsletter via email in glorious full-color format. Submission to the newsletter are essential to its success, so please send your photos, stories, and letters to our Editor, Lanora Cox.
